Quite a few readers liked the concept developed by Ocean Observations that shows how a homescreen expose feature can be introduced on the iPhone to let users sift through several iPhone apps scattered on their iPhone’s homescreen with just a few taps.
iPhone developer Steve Troughton-Smith seems to have liked the concept so much that he has developed an iPhone app for jailbroken iPhone aptly called Orbit that adds Expose-like functionality.
Troughton-Smith has already developed some cool jailbreak iPhone apps like Stacks for iPhone. He was the one who had figured out a way to enable Emoji icons using a simple hack and also had discovered a hack to enable tethering in iPhone OS 3.0 beta.
He has developed a jailbreak iPhone app called Orbit that adds Exposé-like functionality to the iPhone. If you launch the app, it shows all the iPhone homescreens with tiny iPhone app icons, tapping on the any of the homescreen takes you directly to that homescreen so you can launch an iPhone app.
You can checkout the video of the iPhone app in action:
The app costs $1.99 via Cydia.
