MuscleNerd has hacked his iPad 3G to provide native (but primitive) SMS.
This was sent using a raw AT+CMGS command sent to the iPad baseband. That’s because so far, MobileSMS.app from the iPhone doesn’t run properly on the iPad.
This iPad is using a T-Mobile SIM cut down into microSIM size. The AT&T plan attached to the SIM that came with the iPad isn’t allowing SMS messages.
