The iPhone Dev-Team has released an update to UltraSn0w that includes their much anticipated unlock for the iPhone 4.
To perform the unlock you first need to jailbreak your iPhone 4. You can find instructions on how to do that here. Once jailbroken you can follow these instructions to apply the UltraSn0w unlock to your iPhone 4.
Version 1.0-1 of ultrasn0w now works for:
â— iPhone4 baseband 01.59
â— 3G/3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04
A big thanks goes to all the members of the iPhone Dev-Team for their hard work!
In another surprising move, Apple has approved iVideoCamera [App Store, $0.99], an iPhone application that can record video on an iPhone 3G or 2G.
Good news, everyone! Yesterday, the unfortunate news broke that Apple was now shipping iPhone 3GSs with a modified boot ROM that would make the devices impervious to the Dev Team’s jailbreak exploit, 24kpwn.
