Well folks pop the champagne, and thank the iPhone DevTeam, Sherif Hashim and Oranav for this one: you can finally unlock your iPhones. Ultrasn0w 0.9.3 is released in Cydia and if you’re new to this, here’s a tutorial on how to unlock.

The iPhone Dev-Team has released a new version of UltraSn0w which can unlock iOS 4.0.

One of the best things about jailbreak is the possibility to enable true multitasking and install application switchers, pretty much like those ones you can have on Mac OS X and Windows PCs. On jailbroken iPhones you can install Pro Switcher, an amazing tool by Ryan Petrich which allows you to quickly switch between apps running in the background. Unfortunately, Pro Switcher is not ready for the iPad yet, although we’ve heard rumors of a private beta floating around.

I can’t think of many things that top playing Super Mario Kart and being behind someone while in possession of the red turtle shell. Oh wait, I can: it’s playing Super Mario Kart on your iPad and using your WiiMote to shoot the red turtle shell at those in front of you.

Apple has stopped signing iPhone OS 3.1.2. This means that those with an iPhone 3GS or iPod touch 3 who did not use Cydia to store their TSS cannot restore to anything but OS 3.1.3.

Steven Troughton-Smith has released another update to his popular Orbit (Expose) app for iPhone Springboards.

Orbit lets you quickly navigate between Springboard pages by viewing them as thumbnails.

3G Unrestrictor, an app which lets you use restricted apps over 3G, has been updated to version 2.0.

Ryan Petrich, the developer of Clippy, has released a new Springboard Expose app for iPhones called Overboard.
